Sad, Sad Coincidence
My mom and I were listening to the news on Oracion's Mt. Everest climb on the way home from Katipunan. It was a moment of national pride, something everybody was raving about at the moment.
Later, while I was doing my nightly surfing, I found this.
Talk about bad timing.

Bearded Jesus
"Bakit magkakamukha ang mga taong grasa? May dress code ba sila?"A Perspective editor once asked us this question, one of several to be put in a [d]efective issue. I never really thought about the question before, being occupied with the more nonsensical (and therefore funnier) "If you're stuck in a desert island, why?"
I now have an answer, though.
It's the beards. All that facial hair hides a lot of distinctions, not to mention "standardizes" the shape of one's face.
Now that I think of it, maybe that's why people never really bothered listening to Jesus. A lot more people wore beards during his time than in ours, He would've been just another bearded man in a sea of bearded men.
